摘要
In order to prevent oversaturated network from queue spillback, first, this paper defines the oversaturated correlation degree of neighboring intersection and gives the process of initial congestion area definition.Then, a multi-layer perimeter control strategy is established, which could hold the traffic demand exceeding the network capacity in the multi-layer perimeter links.Compared with single-layer perimeter control strategy, the proposed strategy could fully use the storage capacities of links in the oversaturated area and prevent queue spillback of perimeter links may caused by single-layer perimeter control strategy.The case study shows that the delay and the number of stops are greatly improved.
