摘要
Uvaria lombardii L. Gaut. & Deroin, a new species of Annonaceae, growing in the tropophilous forests of Mahajanga and Antsiranana provinces, is described, illustrated and its known distribution mapped. The morphology of the outstanding caulinar cymous inflorescences is discussed, as well as its systematic affinities with Uvaria acuminata var. catocarpa (Diels) Cavaco & Keraudren and Uvaria acuminata Oliv. var. acuminata. An assessment of its conservation status is also provided.
