The paper proposes a revision of the discourse and practice of the National Catholicism in the Argentine Republic during the last military dictatorship, the self called ※Proceso de Reorganizaci車n Nacional§, through its print means, the Cabildo magazine. This paper analyses the trajectory of the magazine, since its initial support to the military forces -under the condition for the military forces to set in motion the ※national revolution§- to the increasingly hard criticism as far as the militaries in the government were not willing to carry out the revolution promoted in the magazine. In addition, the paper shows how the military occupation of the Falkland Islands 〞one of the main nationalistic claims〞 facilitated a short period of closer relation between the magazine and the military forces, something that concluded with the Argentine defeat in the South Atlantic War. El trabajo propone una revisi車n del pensamiento y el accionar del nacionalismo cat車lico en la Rep迆blica Argentina durante la 迆ltima dictadura militar, el autodenominado Proceso de Reorganizaci車n Nacional, a trav谷s de su principal 車rgano de prensa, la revista Cabildo. En 谷l se analizan las circunstancias que llevaron inicialmente a un apoyo condicionado a la gesti車n de las Fuerzas Armadas, que se fue transformando en una cr赤tica cada vez m芍s dura, en tanto los militares en el poder no se mostraron dispuestos a poner en marcha la ※revoluci車n nacional§ que se impulsaba desde la revista. Asimismo, se muestra c車mo la ocupaci車n de las islas Malvinas 〞una de las principales reivindicaciones de los nacionalistas〞 dio lugar a un corto per赤odo de acercamiento, que concluy車 con la derrota en la guerra del Atl芍ntico Sur.
