摘要
Undulators are the most advanced insertion devices of the High Energy Photon Source (HEPS), of which the remanence and the intrinsic coercivity can be improved significantly through the low temperature. The subcooled liquid nitrogen circulation for the pressure cooling was designed. The circulation pressure stabilization was analyzed theoretically and a novel pressure stabilization method was proposed. The whole cold part was set into a vacuum box and separated from the atmosphere. The pressure stability mechanism, the cold transfer performance and the thermodynamic property of the circulation was studied experimentally. According to the results, the subcooled liquid nitrogen circulation was established and maintained long time. The pressure stability can be optimized into ±300 Pa, which verifies the theoretical analysis of the stability mechanism. The stability performance is at the advanced level in the facilities alike. The magnet structure was cooled near 80 K and the cold transfer capacity was more than 1000 W, which meet the requirements of the HEPS.
