摘要

To reduce the springback of sheet metal in rubber forming, a novel rubber forming method called stepped rubber forming using separated container was proposed. Experimental equipment for the stepped rubber forming using separated container was developed for the flanging process of U-shaped 2A12 aluminum alloy with different angles. The influence of different loading paths and feeding amounts on the springback of U-shaped parts in stepped rubber forming process was analyzed by numerical simulation and experiment. Moreover, the stepped rubber forming using separated container was compared with the traditional one-step rubber forming using integral container at the same vertical displacement. Numerical simulation and experimental results show that the stepped rubber forming using separated container can effectively reduce the springback amount compared with traditional one-step forming method using integral container. The optimal loading path of stepped rubber forming was obtained from the relationship between feeding amount and springback.
