Para avaliar a produ o de clones de mandioquinha-salsa em fun o da aplica o de agrosil赤cio, realizou-se um experimento no munic赤pio de Vi osa, Estado de Minas Gerais, no per赤odo de maio/2004 a mar o/2005. Utilizou-se o delineamento de blocos casualizados no esquema fatorial 9 x 2, em faixas, sendo nove clones: Araponga, BGH-4550, BGH-5742, BGH- 5744, BGH-5747, BGH-6417, BGH-6425, BGH-6525 e Senador Amaral, cultivados na aus那ncia e presen a de agrosil赤cio (2.500 kg ha-1), com tr那s repeti es. A colheita foi realizada aos 304 dias ap車s o plantio, quando se avaliou a altura e diametro das plantas e massa fresca da parte a谷rea, n迆mero de ra赤zes por planta, produ o de ra赤zes comerciais, n o-comerciais (refugo), podres e coroa em kg ha-1. N o houve efeito da aplica o de agrosil赤cio na produtividade de ra赤zes comerciais de mandioquinha-salsa. Os clones Senador Amaral, Araponga, BGH-5747, BGH- 5742 e BGH-4550 foram os mais produtivos, todos com produtividade comercial superior a 18.000 kg ha-1. O clone BGH-5744 apresentou a menor produtividade de ra赤zes comerciais,apesar de ter-se destacado em altura, diametro e produ o de massa fresca de parte a谷rea. Sugerese a realiza o de mais trabalhos para avaliar o efeito do agrosil赤cio na produ o de ra赤zes comerciais de mandioquinha-salsa, bem como na resist那ncia das plantas a doen as. The production of Peruvian carrot clones was evaluated in response to calcium-magnesium silicate, through an experiment carried out in Vi osa, Minas Gerais State, from May 2004 to March 2005. The experiments were arranged in a complete randomized design, in a 9 x 2factorial scheme, with the nine clones (Araponga, BGH-4550, BGH-5742, BGH-5744, BGH- 5747, BGH-6417, BGH-6425, BGH-6525 and Senador Amaral) cultivated with and without calcium-magnesium silicate (2,500 kg ha-1), with three repetitions. Plants were harvested 304 days post-planting, and the assessed parameters included plant height and diameter, fresh mass of aerial part, commercial roots per plant and yield of commercial and noncommercial roots (rejects), rotten roots and crown, measured in kg ha-1. There was no significant effect ofcalcium-magnesium silicate application on the yield of commercial roots. Senador Amaral, Araponga, BGH-5747, BGH-5742 and BGH-4550 were the most productive clones, with all having commercial yields above 18,000 kg ha-1. Clone BGH-5744 gave the lowest yield of commercial roots, although it stood out for plant height, diameter and production of fresh mass of aerial part.
