摘要

The effects of cryogenic temperature and holding time on the mechanical properties and wear resistance of CrWMn steel were studied. The results show that cryogenic treatment can improve the hardness, tensile strength and wear resistance of CrWMn steel. The best treatment process to improve the tensile strength is -196 ℃ for 6 h; using this process, the tensile strength of the sample is 30% higher than that of the sample without cryogenic treatment. The best process to improve the wear resistance is to keep temperature at -100 ℃ for 6; under this process, the wear resistance of the sample is about 250% higher than that of the sample without cryogenic treatment.
