摘要
The solid propellant is composed of a very highly viscous binder and various added ingredients. During the mixing process a huge viscosity resistance is generated inside the material, and the main components of the material are all energetic materials. Therefore, the mixing equipment is strict required in the field of mixing principle, safety and cost performance. According to the structure and function of the solid propellant mixing equipment, the paper introduces the paddles mass production equipment represented by the vertical mixers, and the paddle continuous equipment represented by the twin screw mixers, peristaltic mixer and multi-cavity mixers. A no-paddle mixing equipment represented by a resonance acoustic mixer that can be in-situ charged. Combined with the simulation technology of CFD in the chemical industry and the large-scale vertical mixer mixed solid propellant carried out by the French Herakles company, it is pointed out that the simulation technology is the driving force for the development of hybrid process equipment technology. Finally, it is pointed out that automated vertical mixers, twin-screw mixers and no-paddle super-efficiency mixers represent the development direction of advanced mixing equipment in the solid propellant manufacturing industry. The rapid development of related technologies is the basis for achieving intelligent manufacturing of solid propellants.
