摘要
VDCOL (voltage dependent current order limitation) strongly coupled the active and reactive HVDC systems. The reactive power support capability of the converter station cannot be fully utilized to improve its recovery performance during the AC fault duration and recovery process. This paper uses the CIGRE HVDC standard test model and the Guiguang II project model as examples. The operating range of DC and reactive power under the AC fault of the two models is analyzed and calculated. It is verified in the PSCAD/EMTDC simulation program. Then the external characteristics of VDCOL are analyzed. The results show that the DC command of VDCOL is not within the calculated operating range. Finally, a reactive power control strategy to replace VDCOL is adopted, which can not only ensure that the control instructions on both sides of the DC are within the operational range, but also improve the fault recovery performance of the HVDC system. ? 2024 Power System Technology Press.
