In order to more accurately grasp the traffic operation status of each component and the whole of the road network, the definition and calculation methods of weight coefficients are given with a comprehensive consideration of link length, traffic flow and free-flow speed. By selecting the traffic congestion index, freeflow speed and average travel speed as evaluation indices, a calculation method for the traffic operation evaluation index based on link weight coefficients is derived. The results of the case study show that the evaluation indices of the traffic operation status of the road network and arteries obtained by the link weight coefficients are in agreement with those based on the simulation evaluation and definition calculation. When the acquisition rate of the road network data is 10%, the relative accuracy of the projection can be guaranteed to reach 98. 0% with a cumulative probability of 80%. The calculation model can calculate the traffic operation status of links, arteries and the road network by obtaining the link basic traffic operation data, and extrapolate the overall traffic operation status from partial traffic operation data. ? 2022 Southeast University.
