摘要

In order to improve the paper physical performances of bagasse pulp fiber by blending other fiber raw materials, the properties and paper structures of cotton pulp, masson pine pulp, bamboo pulp, eucalyptus pulp, and bagasse pulp were studied, respectively. Firstly, the properties of different pulp fibers were analyzed. Subsequently, a novel characterization method of paper three-dimensional structure was proposed based on confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) to characterize the relative bonding area between fibers by calculating the porosity of paper sheet. And the contributions of the fiber properties to the physical performances of paper sheets were also analyzed. Lastly, to verify the influences of different pulp fibers on the physical performances of paper, the four kinds of pulp fibers, cotton pulp, masson pine pulp, bamboo pulp, eucalyptus pulp, were individually mixed with the bagasse pulp. The testing results showed that the relative error between the calculated value of porosity obtained by CLSM and the experimental value was less than 8%. Moreover, all the experimental values of the physical performances of the papers were greater than the calculated values, demonstrating a synergistic effect. From large to small, the contributions of the studied fibers to the improvement of the physical performances of bagasse pulp paper were as follows: fiber bonding capacity, fiber strength and fiber length. The performances of the paper produced by the bagasse pulp with mixing 50% masson pine pulp were improved mostly. The tensile strength index, bursting strength and tear strength index of the paper sheet were increased by 56.8%, 99.3% and 108.1%, respectively.
