摘要

Transdermal drug delivery is a drug delivery method that can achieve local or systemic treatment through skin delivery. As the third largest drug delivery system following the oral administration and injection,it has a huge potential market prospect. As a new type of transdermal drug delivery preparation,cataplasm has the common advantages of transdermal drug delivery preparation,such as reducing the fluctuation of blood drug concentration,reducing toxic and side effects,convenient use of drugs,and good patient compliance. Compared with traditional transdermal drug delivery preparation,it also has the advantages of large drug load and small skin irritation. In recent years,the promotion of drug transdermal absorption in transdermal drug delivery technology has played a significanct role in promoting the development of cataplasma. In this review,we focus on the research on the matrix,in vivo and in vitro quality evaluation and safety of cataplasma. ? 2020, Editorial Office of Journal of International Pharmaceutical Research.
