the objective was to evaluate the prevalence of skin diseases in patients seen at the dermatology outpatients%26apos; clinic of the santa casa de sˋo paulo during the period from june to october 2005, comparing the results with a similar survey conducted at the same center in 1977. during the period of study, the electronic medical charts of 3011 patients seen in a first visits were analyzed.
