摘要

Objective To investigate the safety of drugs dispensing under the same medical orders in a large scale with one syringe in pharmacy intravenous admixture service. Methods This experiment used empty penicillin bottles as alternative drugs for the dispensing objects. The selected infusion was 0.9% 100 ml sodium chloride injection, and four syringes were adopted to complete the dispensing of one, two, three and four penicillin bottle- packaged drugs, with finished infusion marked. The feasibility of continuous syringe dispensing was explored through amount testing of insoluble particles and bacterial culture of samples. Results The quantity of insoluble particles tested in the finished infusion of one and two penicillin bottles was in compliance with the pharmacopoeia. Three penicillin bottles were dispensed, with insoluble particles in the 15th package ≥25 μm exceeding the standard. Four penicillin bottles were dispensed, with insoluble particles in the 11th package≥25 μm exceeding the standard. No bacterial contamination was observed in all infusions. Conclusions In a dispensing environment of pharmacy intravenous admixture service, one syringe can complete 30 dispensing of 1 or 2 penicillin bottle drugs, with the upper limit of dispensing 3 penicillin bottle drugs being 14 packages, and that of dispensing 4 penicillin bottle drugs being 10. For infusions of 250 ml and 500 ml, continuous application of a syringe for 30 times will not cause infusion contamination. ? 2020 The authors.
