摘要
The fate of Syria has been dominated by great-power rivalry following US and Russian involvement. Linked to their competition in Eurasia and to their intervention in other Middle East hotspots, the power plays between the two countries in Syria will enter a lengthy period of stalemate albeit with twists and turns.
