<正>Commemoralting the 40 th Aniniversary of the Conservation System of China’s Historic Cities,Carrying the Thousands Years of History and Culture Forward China Academy of Urban Planning and Design(CAUPD),a research institute directly under the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of China,is a national center for urban planning research,design and academic information.Since 2000,CAUPD has accomplished over 7000 various projects/tasks including scientific research,urban planning and design,consulting,formulating national and industry standard,etc.Among these projects,more than 80 received national or ministerial level awards for its scientific achievements,while more than 430 projects won the Design & Planning Excellence Award.
