In the footsteps of Count Monte Cristo escaping the Chateau d'If fortress on the way to his treasure, French and Chinese chemists collaboratively elaborated an enantioselective organocatalytic four‐atom ring‐expansion / two‐atom ring‐contraction synthetic strategy to reach rare eight‐ and six‐membered nitrogen heterocycles.
