摘要

  This paper mainly research sugar beet pulp as a low cost adsorbent for the removal of Ca from hard water.SBP commonly treat with inorganic metal ions in wastewater,because of it rich in galacturonic acid groups.Batch experiment were conducted to determine the factors affecting adsorption of the process and effect of hard water softening,such as temperature,contact time,pH,particle size of SBP,the dosage of SBP and concentration of the hard water.At the same time,the thesis explore interaction of temperature,pH and dosage of SBP to result of the water softening.The smaller the particle size of SBP is,the adsorption rate and adsorption capacity is higher.The adsorption capacity was highest when temperature was 21.99℃,the dosage of SBP was5.92g,solution pH was 8.00,and 1027mg/L of hard water can be reduced to 373.401mg/L,lower than the national drinking water standards.The fastest adsorption rate was first 30min of contact time,and the reaction basically reached equilibrium after 60min.Furthermore,the study provide technical guidance for the comprehensive exploitation and utilization of SBP and theoretical support.
