sixty-five moss taxa are new records for goi芍s and tocantins states. of these, 44 are new records (40 - goi芍s; four - tocantins) and 23 are new sites in each of the states (19 -goi芍s; four - tocantins). ptychostomum pallescens (schleich. ex schwˋgr.) spence and philonotis fontana (hedw.) brid. are new records for brazil, and are illustrated.
