La articulaci車n tem芍tica entre bio谷tica y estudios de g谷nero resulta evidente, adem芍s de vigente, en el an芍lisis de las llamadas terapias reparativas para la %26quot;correcci車n%26quot; o cambio de la orientaci車n homosexual. En este art赤culo se exponen los elementos b芍sicos que, a manera de insumos, permiten el di芍logo bio谷tico sobre este asunto. Se exponen los fundamentos de la orientaci車n sexual y su reconocimiento como un derecho humano. Adem芍s, se toman algunos elementos te車ricos respecto del empleo del poder m谷dico como mecanismo de domesticaci車n. En la parte final se analizan algunas caracter赤sticas de las terapias reparativas y se exponen las razones que no hacen 谷ticamente sustentable su aplicaci車n A articula o tem芍tica entre bio谷tica e estudos de g那nero resulta evidente, al谷m de vigente, na an芍lise das chamadas terapias reparadoras de %26quot;corre o%26quot; ou mudan a da orienta o homossexual. Neste artigo se exp em os elementos b芍sicos que, em forma de insumos, permitem o di芍logo bio谷tico sobre este assunto. S o apresentados os fundamentos da orienta o sexual e seu reconhecimento como um direito humano. Al谷m disso, aborda-se alguns elementos te車ricos a respeito do emprego do poder m谷dico como mecnismo de domestifica o. Na parte final se analizam algumas caracter赤sticas das terapias reparadoras e se exp e as raz es que n o tornam eticamente sustent芍vel sua aplica o The interrelation between bioethics and gender studies is clear and contingent. It is obvious in the analysis of the re-constructive therapies for the %26quot;correction%26quot; or change of the homosexual orientation. This paper shows the fundamental elements which allow the bioethics dialogue about it in a summary way. Also, the fundamentals of the sexual orientation and their acknowledgement as a human right are exposed. Furthermore, some theoretical aspects are taken with respect to the use of physician power in the domesticating process. The paper finalizes analyzing some characteristics of the re-constructive therapies and showing the ethical arguments which refuse their application
