　　This paper narrates the brief history of Dubrovnik, and discusses the characteristics of it's city wall defence system, and it's numerous historical cultural heritage.The conclusion is that Dubrovnik is worthy of the pearl of the Adriatic and Urban Museum, being worthy of it's on the UNESCO List of World Heritage.
