INTRODUCTION Globalization, an extremely complex and controversial phenomenon that is characteristic in our society, exhibits itself in many faces including economic,social, technological, cultural, and political dimensions.1 Among the tremendous amount of literature on this subject, the recent bestseller Six Faces of Globalization:Who Wins, Who Loses, and Why It Matters?(hereinafter referred to as Six Faces) authored by Anthea Roberts and Nicolas Lamp,2 stands out as a must-read with respect to understanding the contemporary debates on economic globalization from a holistic perspective.
