A soja 谷 o principal produto agr赤cola mundial, justificando investimentos em tecnologias que visem ao aumento da produ o e 角 redu o dos fatores adversos 角 cultura. Desta forma, este trabalho tem como objetivo avaliar o efeito de retardante vegetal, emdiferentes densidades de semeadura sobre o crescimento, componentes de produ o, produtividade e acamamento na cultura da soja. O experimento foi desenvolvido no Centro Tecnol車gico Coopavel - Cascavel, Estado do Paran芍. O delineamento experimentalconstitui-se de blocos inteiramente casualizados, com quatro repeti es, em esquema fatorial (6x2), sendo os tratamentos obtidos pela combina o das seis doses do retardante e duas densidades de semeadura. Realizaram-se avalia es a cada 14 dias, a partir de 21 dias ap車s a emerg那ncia (DAE) at谷 o florescimento da cultura, obtendo-se diametro de caule e altura de planta, tamb谷m se realizaram tr那s coletas (35, 70 e 100 DAE) para obter massa seca nos diferentes 車rg os da planta e 芍rea foliar. Na colheita, avaliaram-se os componentes da produ o e acamamento. O retardante vegetal e a densidade de plantas influenciaram na altura e diametro de caule das plantas, entretanto, para massa seca, 芍rea foliar, componentesda produ o, produtividade e acamamento, n o houve influ那ncia do retardante; contudo, a densidade de semeadura afetou a massa seca. Soybean is the main agricultural product worldwide, meriting investments in technology with aims of increasing production as wellas reducing adverse crop factors. Thus, this work had as objective to evaluate the effect of growth retardant - in different sowing densities - on growth, production components, yield and lodging in soybean crops. The experiment was developed at the CoopavelTechnological Center, Cascavel 每 Parana State, Brazil. The experimental design was arranged in completely randomized blocks with four replications, in a factorial experiment (6x2), with treatments obtained through the combination of six levels of retardant and twosowing densities. Evaluations were undertaken every 14 days, starting 21 days after emergence (DAE) until bloom. At this time, stem diameter and plant height were measured. Three collections were made (35, 70 and 100 DAE), in order to calculate dry mass in the different plant parts and leaf area. At harvest, the production components andlodging index were evaluated. The growth retardant and plant density influenced the height and stem diameter of the plants.
