O experimento teve como objetivo avaliar a utiliza o do sorgo (50%) e do farelo de caro o de algod o extrusado (0; 13,33; 26,66 e 39,99%) em substitui o ao milho e 角 prote赤na do farelo de soja em ra es de frangos de corte. Foi conduzido um experimento utilizando 300 pintos de corte, machos, distribu赤dos em um delineamento inteiramentecasualizado com cinco tratamentos e cinco repeti es de 12 aves por parcela. As vari芍veis analisadas foram consumo de ra o (CR), ganho de peso (GP), convers o alimentar (CA) e caracter赤sticas de carca a. Para CR e GP, n o houve diferen as estat赤sticas (p %26gt; 0,05) entre otratamento controle e o segundo tratamento com exce o para CA no per赤odo de 22 a 42 dias. Com o resultado para GP houve diferen as significativas (p 0,05) para todos os parametros avaliados. Tanto o sorgo quanto o farelo de caro o de algod o extrusado em substitui o ao milho e o farelo de soja 谷 poss赤vel at谷 13,31%, melhorando a convers o alimentar. The experiment aimed to evaluate the use of sorghum (50%) and the expander cottonseed meal (0; 13.33; 26.66; 39.99%) in substitution to the corn and the protein of the soybean meal in broilers* rations. Anexperiment was carried out using 300 male broiler chicks, distributed in a randomized arrangement with five treatments and five repetitions of 12 birds per parcel. The analyzed variables were ration consumption (RC), weight gain (WG), feed conversion (FC) andcharacteristics of carcass. RC and WG did not present any statistical differences (p %26gt; 0.05) between the controlled treatment and the second treatment, except for FC during the period of 22 to 42 days. As for WG, significant statistical differences were found (p 0.05) for all the evaluated parameters. Both sorghum and the expander cottonseed meal in substitution to the corn and the soybean meal are possible, up to 13.31%, to improve the feed conversion.
