摘要

Foi estudado o efeito de n赤veis de sombreamento sobre o desenvolvimento de mudas de maracujazeiro, no per赤odo de 12/05 a 29/06 de 2004, na Universidade Estadual do Sudoeste da Bahia, em Vit車ria da Conquista, Estado da Bahia. Mudas com 45 dias ap車s aemerg那ncia foram transplantadas e submetidas a diferentes n赤veis de redu o da radia o solar, quais sejam: 0% (pleno sol), 30%, 50% e 70%. Foi utilizado o delineamento experimental em blocos casualizados, com quatro tratamentos, cinco repeti es e seis plantas 迆teis por parcela. Foram avaliadas as caracter赤sticas: massa seca de ra赤zes, caules e folhas, raz o parte a谷rea/raiz, 芍rea foliar, 芍rea foliar espec赤fica, raz o de 芍rea foliar, raz o de massa foliar e teor de nitrog那nio total. Foi observada tend那ncia ao ac迆mulo de massa secanas mudas menos sombreadas, sendo que houve aumento da raz o parte a谷rea/raiz nas mudas sob maiores n赤veis de sombreamento. A 芍rea foliar, 芍rea foliar espec赤fica e raz o de 芍rea foliar foram maiores nas plantas mais sombreadas, refletindo uma adapta o destas paramaximizar a absor o de luz. A raz o de massa foliar n o diferiu entre os tratamentos. O teor de nitrog那nio total por unidade de massa foi maior nas plantas mais sombreadas, enquanto por unidade de 芍rea, decresceu. The effect of shading levels on the development of yellow passion fruit seedlings was studied, from May 12 to June 29 (2004), at theUniversidade Estadual do Sudoeste da Bahia, in Vit車ria da Conquista, Bahia State, Brazil. Seedlings aged 45 days after the emergency, were cultivated and submitted to different levels of solar radiation reduction: 0%, 30%, 50% and 70%. The experimental design was in randomized blocks, with four treatments, five replications and six plants for plot. The evaluation parameters were: dry mass of roots, stems and leaves, shoot/root ratio, leaf area, specific leaf area, leaf area ratio, leaf mass ratio and nitrogen content. A trend to the accumulation of dry mass in the less shaded plants was observed. Also, there was an increase of the aerial part/root ratio in the plants under higher shade levels. The leaf area, specific leaf area and leaf area ratio were higher in the shaded plants, reflecting an adaptation of these to maximize the light absorption. The leaf massratio did not differ between the treatments. The total nitrogen content per unit of mass was higher in the shaded plants, while per unit of area, a decrease was observed.
